who are we?

millésime
n. vintage, classic.

what makes a millésime girl? what defines her?

some of my favourite excerpts from the millésime blog at http://www.bebo.com/vintageadoration.

florals, bows, buttons, frills, teacups, rosy cheeks and red lipstick
you steal your grandfathers oversized cardigan
you love lacy dresses, button earrings, & you prefer porcelain skin to a fake orange glow
you wear brooches brought from charity stores
proper spelling and pronunciation, tea parties & gardens
you like to sit outside in the grass, and cruise the country lanes on your bicycle
your clothes are eclectic and mainly thrifted
you drink your tea from antique cups decorated with floral patterns
your copies of vogue, NYLON and ELLE are strewn about your bedroom
you like to read interesting books and learn about the world
you adore bright red lipstick, grey cardigans and pearl necklaces
on your hands you wear red nailpolish and a ring your grandmother gave you
you're always wearing perfume - a classic, floral scent that reminds people of you
long pearl necklaces, flowers in your hair, strolling through charity shops and buying odd things that no one else in the world will have...
